What “pre-owned” means at Sarah Kate Curates

Buying pre-owned luxury should feel as good as buying new, and it should feel safer, because you know exactly what you're getting. That's the standard behind every piece I list.

Paperwork, when it exists

Boxes, cards, receipts, dust bags and certificates add to a piece's value and its story. When they're included, I list each one. Recent pieces have come with Entrupy and Authenticate First certificates, and diamond pieces with CGL gemological reports.

Close-ups of everything

Photos are part of the description. You'll see stamps, serials, hardware, corners and interiors, along with any wear. If you'd like to see more, text me and I'll send it.

The flaws, in writing

A scuffed corner, a button that doesn't close, a diamond setting that isn't original to the maker: if I find it, you'll read it before you buy. No surprises is the whole point.
